Welcome to the Arizona Chapter of the Hunt Of A
Lifetime Foundation website.
"Hunt Of A Lifetime" is a nonprofit organization with
a mission to grant hunting & fishing adventures and
dreams for children age 21 and under, who have been
diagnosed with life threatening illnesses.
On these pages you will find pictures and stories of
some very special kids and the people who are reaching
out to help them realize these outdoor dreams. I am
truly amazed at the generosity the outdoor community
displays when we come together for a common cause.
Thanks to this generosity we've had three successful
seasons which saw 26 youngsters realizing their dreams.
This was accomplished, in large part, due to the new
legislation in place that allows hunters who have
successfully drawn a tag in Arizona, to donate it to a
non profit 501(c)(3) organization, dedicated to
providing outdoor opportunities, for use by a minor
child. If you have a tag you would like to donate to our
program just click on the “Donate a Tag” link at the
left and complete the form you will find on that page.
Then mail it into us along with your tag and we will
work to match a child up with it.
Reflecting back on the last 3 seasons it's truly
amazing to see where we started and where we are today.
Our 2007 season saw our program placing 13 children on
15 different hunts....... Amazing!!!
None of this would have been possible without the
help of each and every person who stepped up to the
plate to help out. From those who have donated tags to
those who volunteered to help in the camps, every one of
you have helped make a difference in the life of a child
who otherwise would not have had the opportunity to
fulfill their dream of a lifetime. We have been truly
blessed to have had the opportunity to work with the
cream of the crop in guides and outfitters. These guides
and outfitters have taken our kids into the field and
sent them home with world class hunting experiences that
exceed all expectations.
This last season was one of forming partnerships with
the local conservation groups and they stepped up in
spades. The Arizona Deer Association, The Arizona Desert
Bighorn Sheep Society, The Arizona Antelope Foundation,
The Arizona Bowhunters Association, the Mohave Sportsman
Club, the Arizona Elk Society, the Mogollon Sporting
Association and the Chandler Rod and Gun Club all
contributed to the success and growth of our program. As
they have been from the beginning, the Arizona Game and
Fish Department continues to be one of our programs
biggest supporters and I hope each of you had the chance
to attend the Game and Fish Expo in March. If not
definitely make plans to attend next year.
This year will also mark the second time the Arizona
Antelope Foundation has partnered with Hunt Of A
Lifetime at their Annual Banquet. The Antelope
Foundation donated $5.00 from every ticket sold last
year and matched it with an additional $5.00 which
provided Samantha MacDonald, and others, with their Hunt
of a Lifetime. You can read her story in our "Meet Our
Hunters" section of the website.
The Arizona Antelope Foundation's 5th Annual
Fundraising Banquet will be held this year on July 19,
2008 at the El Zaribah Shrine in Phoenix. If you've ever
attended one of their banquets you will be able to
attest that it is one of the best. This year they will
also be hosting the drawing of the Arizona Super Raffle
Tickets. This is a fantastic opportunity to support Hunt
Of A Lifetime, the Arizona Antelope Foundation, the
Arizona Game and Fish Department, and Arizona wildlife,
with the purchase of one banquet ticket. What a deal!!
Thanks again to each and every one of you who have
participated with our program and keep an eye on our
website as another year of fulfilling dreams comes
together.
We are making a difference in these youngsters’ lives
by making their dreams come true.

Attention Hunt Of A Lifetime Supporters
It has come to our attention that there has been a
annual dove hunt in Wickenburg that is to benefit Hunt
Of A Lifetime over the course of the last three years,
and out of those three years. we have only seen proceeds
from the first year. Hunt Of A Lifetime has not granted
permission to use its name for this purpose over the
last two years and will not do so in the future. If you
have any questions weather or not an event you are
participating in does in fact have a direct correlation
with Hunt Of A Lifetime, please feel free to contact us
to validate the authenticity of the event you are
